Honey

Meet the gorgeous Honey, as her name suggests she is an absolute honey of a pup.  Honey is currently on foster with a cat and absolutely loving life, she loves stretching out in front of the fire soaking up all the heat. With an awesome nature, Honey would suit a family that likes outings to the dog park, adventures to the beach, wants a dog to play with and then have a snuggle bunny at the end of the day. Being give away first in first served on the side of the road, Bronson came in to care to make sure he went to a well-vetted home, safe and sound. He is a lovely natured little guy and is looking for a home that can continue to teach him about the world through training and lots of adventures. Being young, Bronson would adapt to most homes and would be fine with cats, dogs, kids etc with good boundaries. Bronson will go to his new home desexed, had 1st vac, microchipped, registered with NZCAR, council registered, worm/flea treated and 30 days free pet insurance so an adoption donation of $280 is asked to help recover part of his rescue costs.

Spring

Breed: Huntaway.

Age: 9 months approx.

Location: Naike.

Spring is a very sweet natured girl! Found in a very rural area, we have no idea where she came from. No one in the area came forward to claim her, no missing dogs reported with animal control and no chip – we suspect she was dumped out there. Luckily she found her way to a lovely lady who took care of her until we could pick her up. Spring doesn’t seem to have seen much in her life, so is a little nervous sometimes. She loves going on walks, and walks nicely on a lead. She prefers to be with people and will stay nice and close to you even in the paddock, and has a good recall. Spring is good with the other 8 dogs at her foster home, and ok with cats (but will chase if they run). She has shown some interest in stock through the fence (has not been tested for stock work ability yet), but is very soft natured & should be easy to train in that department. Spring is very food motivated (typical Huntaway!) and eager to please. She loves attention from people she trusts. Spring is very nervous of bad weather, and prefers to be an indoor dog at night. She is great in the crate overnight, and will just relax and go to sleep. She has met children with no issues, but would prefer a home with older or no children as they can be a little scary sometimes. She would suit a rural property where she can go for a good run around to use her energy. Being a working type dog, she would best suit a home where she will get a good amount of exercise and mental stimulation. Spring is looking for an owner that is patient and happy to help her learn about the world, while also providing good boundaries and training. She is not a sit at home all day type dog, and would love to go out on lots of adventures. Spring is desexed, had 1st vaccination, is microchipped and will be registered with council & NZCAR so an adoption donation of $280 is asked to recover some of these costs.
